Just wondering if anyone has seen this years patch yet? I tend to take my deer to a checkstation, obtain a patch and include it with a picture of me with my deer on my "trophy" wall. Pretty neat how they have evolved over the years. http://www.michigan.gov/images/deerboard_27028_7.jpg Just wondering what this years will look like...?

I saw that this morning, and didn't say anything. Figured I was the only one not getting the joke.

goodguy hunts with me...I rag on him about his patches all the time. I never got into the patches myself. I guess my patches are hanging on the walls and tossed in the rack bin....

Thanks for posting that. I posted the same picture recently, but only had the patches through 2001. I had my mother-in-law take all of mine and mat and frame them. It looks pretty cool. You'd be surprised how much some of these go for on ebay.

Thanks for the support stebo, bowhunting48060 is just jealous that he didn't start collecting them also :gaga: . And you're right, they do go for quite a bit on Ebay.

I don't usually have the chance to check my deer in but I like to collect a patch for every year that I am successful so I end up buying one on Ebay.

$247 for the 1981. Why is that one so much?

On another note, do people actually reproduce these and sell them as originals?
