This Woodstove was purchased in December of 02, from home Depot for almost $700. It is a catalyst stove which means it's design is to keep the heat in the stove and not let it out the chimney(Vermont Casting uses this type of design). They are claiming that it is 70% to 80% efficient. I have used it since I bought it and have heated half of my house VERY WELL, and burns wood quite efficiently. I have the original paper work, stove is dirty as you can see in the picture and may need a little touch up. Stove has a blower and a duct system going through stove. Catalyst needs to be replaced and I have the contact information for getting it....should cost around $100 to get a new catatlyst. UL approved. Just need to get it out of the house.....I am replacing it with the Corn stove that I used on the other end........Pick up only.....will need several guys to move it since it is heavy. I put a piece of steel where the glass ussually is in the door.......broke it on a piece of wood! Glass did not stay clean so I figured it didn't matter! PM me if interested!
