morning hunt

does anyone have any luck hunting in the morning,or is it usually the evening hunt for most?

This is my first year and everybody was telling me just before dark.
All the bear that have been coming to our farthest bait has been before noon.
4 different bear

Our middle bait is one bear in the evenings.

My one & only bear was taken about ten in the morning. I was seeing a sow with a cub in the late afternoon, too. I think bear are like deer, they move whenever if there's no pressure, etc.

I know quite a few guys in the WUP that hunt a lot of mornings and they wouldn't be if it wasn't worth it.:D

Personally, I recommend fishing walleyes in the morning and sitting for bear starting in the afternoon. I find this makes for a complete day in da UP - Surf and Turf! ;)
