You guys are changing the way I do things, Thanks a bunch! Jr and I picked up a limit of Perch working the south shore in 17 fow. Emeralds worked great and those shad looking minnows sucked. Going to eat good tonight!! :)

He helped a bunch but they are all cleaned and waiting to go in the pan. That cooler is a 60 qt but very tall. Doesn't look like a lot of fish but it was pretty heavy for this time of year. :) We were very happy with the results. :)

Nobody can tell you anything about Perch fishing especially early season and also the US side. Ed's the real deal! Thank goodness this lake has a Canadian side!! :D :p ;)

Yup, 50 per person but youngsters are fishing under your limit unless they have a Canadian license. Michigan they can catch there own limit without a license. :)

I stayed on this side near GPYC and brought home 13 nice perch, well except for the 7"ers that decided they needed to swallow the hook and bleed all over the place. Darn smallies wouldn't stop hitting the Swedish Pimple.

Tried a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Probably missed two-thirds of my nibbles because I was screwing around with my other rod. Slip-bobber, casting for perch, jigging. It's all about learning. I need to coax Michrina onto my boat and pick his brain. How big a beer cooler do I need Ed? And what kind of sammiches?

If we fish the Perch tournament this year, I'm just going to keep bait on and rods in the water and let him load the cooler! :p

Nice catch John & Paul! My self, I kept 22 Sunday & 1 18" walleye on my perch rig. Got soaked to the bone as the rain came down hard at 8:30 & headed in. Capt Perch & myself kept 33 this morning, he getting the biggest @ 11.5" & me the most. Its looking very good this year.
