Gonna head out about 2:00 a.m. Anybody else gonna be there? I'm taking my dad with me and we'll stay till about 7:30 a.m.

Oh, by the way, I saw my neurologist today for a check-up from my anterior cervical vertebrae fusion surgery 4 weeks ago. He gave me the okay to go back to work on Monday with the understanding that I can't lift anything over 5 lbs. for the next 8 weeks. :yikes: UHHHHHHH UHHHHHHH WeLLLLLLLL

I just hope he doesnt visit this site and see my salmon pictures from Tuesday...:evil:UHHHHHHHHHH really doc....those fish were really hanging by a thin invisible wire over my head! My wife had to do everything she could from not tattling on me! Guess any fish over 5 lbs. tonight will have to be reeled in by my dad!:corkysm55 No problem about work though, school doesn't start till Sept. 5th!

Neck surgery brings back memories for me.

Wow, and no cervical immobilizer collar either? Must have done instrumentation? (plates and screws).

Did he take X-rays to see how the fusion is taking? Did he use your bone, or allograph?

Other than that, perhaps your doctor should take heed of your rehabilitation protocol leading to such a quick recovery rate.

The collar lasted a total of 2 days, then I got rid of it.

Yes, he used plates and screws...titanium. I just hope this doesn't screw me up when I try to fly. He told me just to show them my scar if the detector goes off.

Xrays will be taken at the end of October, my next visit. By then salmon season should be over, and I'll hopefully have a buck with my bow too!

They used bone from a bone bank. Apparently it takes longer to heal if they use your own from your hip. Also hurts more!

I'm still looking at tonight. Anybody else going?

you know my boss has had back surgury and because he didn't listen to his doc about not golfing he has made things worse and way more painful(i.e. another surgury, more plates and screws)...

now im no doc but if hes screwed up his back worse because of golfing i can only imagine what fighting/lifting those kings is gonna do...

oh well i guess thats what workman's comp is for:rolleyes:
