If you don't mind a little drive, we fish Wabasis lake near Rockford every wed. I think we only have this week and next left on the schedule though. No membership, just show up before 6:00 pm, pay your $20 entry, and fish till 9:00.
There is also a bass club in Wayland. Not sure how to get a hold of them, but thedude here on MS.com is a member, you might send him a private message.

the one on wednesday in rockford, you have to bring your own boat? Is it a two man thing? Know anyone that has an opening? I would be happy to help pay for gas or whatever in the boat as well.
thanks!

Two man teams... everyone I know fishes with a pretty regular partner so I guess I can't help you out there. Grab your boat and come on up.

Nope.... $20 a boat. There is a picnic table right by the ramp where you sign up. Register before 6:00 and pick your take off number. Weigh in is AT 9:00. Don't be late to the no wake zone or you will be dq'ed.
Hope to see you there. I'll be there in my little yellow and white Glastron with my 15 yo old partner. Who's been out fishing me lately....
