A question about st joe

Hey guys. I am looking to fish new places this year for the fall and have never fished st joe. I was wondering if anyone could let me know either in a PM or on the boards here about where to park and if there is a camp ground close by. I am going to be there during the week, so i am hoping something will be open to throw a tent up at. If you guys have any info that would help me out, i would be most gratefull.

Also after reading on the boards here i plan to bring a assortment of bait and tackle. If you have any suggestions on out of the ordinary thing i might need that would help too. Thanks again

You can park at both piers, Tiscornia Park and Silver Beach. Both of them you have to pay. Tiscornia(north pier) is 3 bucks and day and silver beach is 7 bucks. You can avoid paying at Silver beach by parking in the lot just up the road. Not sure of the camping though.

Thanks for the help about parking. I got a friend that moved to three rivers so i might stay there cause its free. Only about 45 min from lake michigan he said so not to far off.
