Pentwater - PWC rider injured in Pentwater

PENTWATER — Coast Guard Station Ludington personnel responded to a pontoon boat-personal watercraft accident Saturday evening in Pentwater in which driver of the PWC fell off his machine and landed under the pontoon boat. He was subsequently keelhauled and cut by the prop of the pontoon boat.
The youth was airlifted to Spectrum Health of Grand Rapids for treatments of the injuries suffered. He received stitches and a steel plate in his arm.
According to Chief Trey Bennett of Coast Guard Station Ludington, the youth was bleeding badly.
