does anyone know if the old style pikie minnow lures are still made by someone...i have a few really old ones that i never use but always take with me for sentimental value ...they were my fathers....i would like to get some new ones just like those old ones to actually use.

Check on e-bay.
They are still made by the Creek Chub company. Thay aren't wood anymore, but they still catch fish. A great wood version of a Pikie is made in Canada by the Lucky Strike company. I believe they are made of maple, I know they certainly stand up to pike and muskie.

I was wrong, they are cedar, as are most bigger wood lures. They sure do work, I always ahve a few on board.:)
