Perch fear me !! I'll be out and about all weekend,, Looking for Perch and Pike and Walleyes,, just got a new mister twister fillet knife and I would like to see how many fish it takes to burn this one out,,
P.S,,, if you go out of Erie Metro, stop in at bottom line tackle, and look on the glass case at the pictures, look up at the upper left hand corner at the one with 80 jumboperch,,,

You'll be busting ice to get into boblo's marina this weekend.

You know Dave, they just changed the forecast for Saturday from high of about 28 to 44 and rain, you may be able to get into Bob-lo. Hope you get some slabs.:)
My guess is you won't even head very far from the Metropark launch.:)

Lol, nope, just been there, done that, and have caught and seen some hog pike caught early in that marina. Those suckers are nuts when you hook them 4 feet down.:p

well we made it out only thing was we didint even have to go that far, found the perch, crappies, and gills closer to metro.was a beautiful day on the water...the water temp was still lower 30's,gonna be a bit for the eyes unless it hits about 70 this week.a buddy of mine was in front of luna pier last week and they caught 12 eyes in 14' of water trolling rapalas.thought the info would be nice.BE READY,theyre coming...theyre also getting a few little jacks in the maumee right now.

west wind at 20 to 30 sucks,, went out of erie metro, and it was about 6 inches deep saw a couple of guys just trashing there prop trying to get back,, I just took my boots off and pushed us into a foot of water near the pilings out by the channel,, made our way to boblo and the water was muddy ,, no fish,, was marking a bunch but no takers,,saw three Bald Eagles on the way back and there was a sand bar all the way across the river that cuts cerleron in half,, first time I have seen the water that low,, wouldn't recomend going out of erie metro,, I had my duck boat and it dosen't draft that much water ,, just look at the concrete blocks at the launch if you see six of them go up river to launch,,
