Guys please help!!!!!

I have a 98 mariner 30hp. When I leave the launch at a no wake speed for about 200 yards she runs fine. I get past that and open her up it runs fine. The problem is after that when I have to slow down for a no wake or to fish she wants to stall out. Then give me a hard time starting back up. Any ideas????:help: The wife wants to fish!!!:help:

go to the auto parts or gander pick up a bottle of seafoam and mix it in with a gallon of gas cant remember how much most the bottle i believe. drain your current gas and run this.. now it will smoke like the dickens but its good it removes carbon and all that gunk works absolute wonders! might be just what ya need

I think the sea foam helped mine. I had a similar problem in the past & I added the sea foam plus adjusted my low speed on the carb & ran much better. I even noticed a gain in achievable rpm's & speed afterward.

check the primer bulb sounds like you are sucking air

Could take a fuel sample in a glass jar and let it settle for a while to see what it looks like. I have an in the hull tank, and I got water in some how. Did you happen to try adjusting the carb to lean it out?

I do believe you have an air leak. as already mentioned check your bulb and lines.

I replaced the fuel line and bulb. I am thinking maybe a fuel pump issue???
