I am taking my niece (2 1/2 years old) out fishing for her first time next week and need a lake that will be certain to produce a fair amount of fish. I haven't been panfishing in years and while I am fairly confident I can find some fish, I am still looking for some suggestions. I will not be keeping any fish and size definately does not matter in this situation. I am looking for something as close as possible to Grand Rapids with a public launch - since she is pretty adamant about going out in the boat. Feel free to PM any specific advice you may be willing to part with, as I can almost guarantee I will not be panfishing on soft water again unless it is another time with her. Thanks.
