How To Install Rail - Boat

I have a 24 foot boat (IMP) and want to install a stainless rail tube over the transom and around the both sides half way back to the cabin.

This would allow me to mount my rod holders and move them around when trolling

Anyone done this before if so any advice?

Why do you want stainless rail tube ? Why not mount something like the Bert's Track Mounting. This would be better when you want to remove your rod holders, and you won't have a rail in the way when you don't want it.
