anyone else use them? I had to use some today an the old ones I had in box were the kind where ya push the thread off a little tube an then pull tight,sounded good but after a few casts the @#$%^ things started slipping an were useless,what do you guys use?:fish:

The wire loop with the red rubber stopper on it. Put you line through the loop and pull the stopper onto the line. Don't get any line twist and easily goes through the rod onto the reel.

I have never found anything that at least part of the time didn't catch the line when you cast. The thread on the straw works best but it still catches when you cast. The little plastic ones suck BIG TIME! The rubber ones are a pain to put on. I think they are all hard on the line if you change depths. Untill someone comes up with someting better I'll use the tread.
