Work just got a lot more fun!

Just got the OK to fish the ponds here at work that are stocked with smallies and pan fish. Oh yea, that means before work, during lunch, and after work I can make a few casts. A few of us here are planning to put together a bass tourney that will last for one week and have prizes for largest bass, total weight, and smallest bass. The best part is we are all practicing C&R. Well, gotta go...I still have 15 min left on lunch. :lol:

Now I really have an excuse when I tell the wife I'll be leaving work a bit later today. :D
This morning I went out and threw some top water and pulled in LM bass, and all along I was told there were SM's in there. This morning I was out there for a bit and my boss pulled up and asked if I was doing any good and I told him what I caught, so he gets his rod/reel out and after a couple of casts he has a LM on, he was grinning from ear to ear, he was using meps. Largest one caught so far was a 16" and that was caught this morning. Went to take a picture and the batteries were dead in the digital. Oh, and even had a nice slab gill hit my zara puppy this morning. I was asked to bring my ice fishing gear in to work this winter. C'mon ice! Ok, not yet, but soon.
Now phase 2 is to find out if they need any help with crowd control on the goose population this fall.:evilsmile
