Hello Everyone,
I'm 22 and want to get into hunting, I know I have to take hunters safety and
was wondering if anyone knew if there were any classes in the Allen Park area or were the best place to take it would be?

If the DNR link doesn't provide something for you try any local gun clubs, MUCC affiliated clubs, local sporting goods stores, etc. that may be providing the classes due to the increased demand (due to the age changes). They're not all listed in the DNR site.

Checkout Top Gun and Gander Mountain. Both are in Taylor. If they don't have one sheduled, contact me and I'll have one of our instructors get you in a class.

I know its a hike, but if worse comes to worse, Bass Pro up at the Great Lakes Crossing Mall is registering folks for no cost hunters savings classes...
Would be drive up I-75 for ya...

The problem with BPA is the day the post on the web site is the day you call to sign up for the class about a month later. I wanted to get my son in before we went to Florida and called to get him in for one of the dates posted when the told me that I need to call at 9:00 A.M. that day and the first 30 or so callers are registered.
$6 or whatever it is now, I'll sign him up at Multi-Lakes. It's been a month since I checked the DNR site, but it always has a lot of listings for Wayne, Oakland, McComb

I know Washtenaw sportsmans club usually does one each year not sure what the date is but you can check there web site at www.washtenawsportsmansclub.com hope this helps. Just checked there web site it is Sept. 8,9,10 cost $10 for the whole weekend including ammo for training. Maximum of 75 students call Mitchell Smith at 1-734-995-6384. The class does fill up quick and be prepaired for it to rain it always does. You can also pre-register on-line at the web site.

We at the Dundee Sportsmans Club will be hold our next class on
Sept. 11th , 13th & 14th
From 5pm till 9:30pm
You must attend all 3 classes and the classes are free but do except donations for the books.
We also offer a IBEP class ( International Bow Education Program) on
Saturday Sept. 16th
