I caught a dandy of a bass, but the batteries in the electronic scale were dead!:bloos: I took this picture. The length was 21 and 1/4inch. The girth was 15 and 1/8inch. At that length it could reach 6lbs but the girth is not that big so I would say probably 5 1/2lbs. Nice fish;)

I'd have to say right around 5lbs give or take an ounce or two. I've caught similar size Bass that went about 4.75 lb. It looked very similar to the pic of the one you posted. Either way, it's a nice fish. Congratulations!

I caught one once that was 21" I weighted 4lb 9 oz. So 5lb, is a good guess, nice fish!:fish:

Not sure what a good girth is, but I caught one over 20" today that only went 3lb 11oz.

Heck, I didn't even notice the the "bend over and smile" in the picture... I was too put off by the green and white shirt you have on!!!! :fish2: :fish2:

Im sure you can safely call it a 5 pounder. If I caught it, it would be a 6 pounder:D
