Sense the leagal hunting age has been lowered to 10, at hunters safty do they still make the 10 year olds shoot 12ga shotguns or do they have a special gun for them? any info would help.

Last year my daughter only had the choise between an air rifle and a 22.
I never heard of them shooting any type of gauged gun...
Hope this helps;
Most ask the kids what they want to shoot, Thats the way I have it setup. I even have a 10ga that I will let some shoot. :yikes: Most of the time it is the females that want to shoot it.

Depends on where you go. Multi-lakes does the above set-up.

Why would you ever let a begenner shoot a 10 ga??? We use 22s But some instructors have differnt ideas, by the way we have a class starting at 5:30 on the 22 of august

When I took it with my son last year they gave the kids the choice of what they shot (and did not force them to shoot anything although all did). Most shot a 20 gauge.
