Did you look up the value? I paid $7,000 for a 1995 Monark, 90hp Mariner, 15hp merc, 4 stroke kicker, Deep V pro 1700. It's tough to buy something site un seen. too many things you should check out, I had to replace the steering cable, live well and bait well pumps, Fix some cobbled up wireing, etc, and I looked at it before I bought it. There are a lot of boats for sale out there, take a drive up north, they are everywhere. Just a thought

I posed two questions to the seller.
1. How does the motor run ?
2. Any trouble with it ?

we've purchased 3 used and 3 new over the last 15 months..........I place the most emphasis on the 'quality of the man' on the other end of the sale....If it serves your needs and makes you happy..i think you are the best 'judge' of what to pay!

I think $4000 and under would be a good deal.
There's no shortage of used boats for sale out there!
Check out traderonline.com for comparisons -- I saw this boat's twin sister on there for $4500 or best offer (out of state).
