For all of you interested in dusting off the scattergun before season starts, MUCC's Stop The Antis Committee (STAC) will be putting on a fundraising shoot at the Michigan Trapshooting Association (MTA) in Mason on September 13.

Right now we are also expecting (quite a few verbal committments) between 25 and 50 legislators to be joining us. It should be a great time...and hopefully raise a little money for the current Proposal 3 campaign.

I tried to attach the advertisement bellow...but it did't work...take a gander at our website at www.mucc.org (http://www.mucc.org).

(I'll post the actual link for the ad once I post it on the web...)

More clubs need to invite the local rep/senators both state and US to come out and shoot.

So "They wont come" --so make then make a statement. Some will come and then you have their ear(s). Ditto MEDIA....and maybe soon there wont be any automatic revolvers, assult shotguns. We could then point out what proposed legislation would outlaw..from guys like Lautenburg, Kennedy., Clinton ---gag, gag, gag. I cant convioence my club to do it either-never done it before- you know.

Couldn't agree with you more...

The day was purposely set on a Wednesday so that it would be as easy as possible for reps and senators to come out and join us. With that said it always helps when their own constituents (you) personally invite them to attend.

Put the calls out to your senator and rep and we'll see about getting everyone out to the range on September 13th.

Don't forget to also make sure to relay the invite to all family/friends/coworkers/etc. who might enjoy a day at the range as well.
