Truck boxes

Not wanting to hijack SHF's thread in the Upland Forum I'll ask here too. I know some of you have very nice truck bed/SUV boxes but I'm looking for something different. I want to utilize the space beween the back of the front seats to the pad of the back seats. From the back of the front seats to the back seat pad is roughly 12" and from floor to top of pad is about the same with 4 1/2 feet of length to work with. I would think it's enough to hold a couple guns, shell boxes and misc.. and safe inside the truck. And I guess it should also be easily removable so I can fit a few hunters in the back seats. Have any of you seen something close to this??

Hi Hammerin Hank.

I use rubbermaid totes that have lids that lock onto the tote. That way, if I have to put it in the back of my pickup, they are weatherproof, and I can secure them with a load locker bar ($5 at Harbor Freight). A couple small totes fit on the floor behind each of the front seats, then I lay our long gun cases on the back seat and cover with other items.

there are boxes for sportsmen designed to fit behind each model of pickups seat. they are nice quality , locking gun and equipment boxes. they are available threw many truck accessory dealers.Not wanting to hijack SHF's thread in the Upland Forum I'll ask here too.
