Land-O-Lakes Archers is going to host the 3rd Annual Joe Vincent Memorial Shoot on August 19th and 20th. The shoot will be at Land-O-Lakes in Fenton, MI. Rockies Great Outdoors (Flint, MI) will be one of the sponsors.
There will be free primative camping on the grounds and opens on Friday evening. The club kitchen will be open both days. There will be Raffles, Venders, and novelties. Kids under 12 shoot for free.
The shoot consists of 30 3D targets on a roving range. Registration is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days. All types of Archery Equipment is acceptible, High Tech or Traditional. There will be a Coon Shoot Saturday evening at dusk. Also on Saturday there will be a Pig Roast with all the trimmings, the cost is $10.00 per person.
On a person note, I have shot at many shoots all over the Midwest. The grounds, targets, stands, and the people at Land-O-Lakes are the Best you will find anywhere. I highly recommend this shoot to anyone.
