Ok, Guys,
November will quickly be upon us before we know it and it is important to not wait till the last moment! The dove referendum is the key to what the future will bring.......My question is....will allow the door to be shut on the HSUS/Anti's or are we going to let it swing wide open???? I made a donation today of $50 to the CWCMI to help carry on the fight that will take place this fall. My CHALLENGE to all of of you is to do the same.....don't matter the amount but for the fact that you donated. I know money is tight, it's tight for all of us! But look at this as an investment not as a cost, like preventative maintnence........AND remember, if we fail the cost of the "disease" will be much greater. I always look at hunting as a cheap Hobby compared to most......Hours spent vs. cost..........Where else can I be entertained for hours for literally pennies on the dollar??? Let's show the anti's that we do care and will invest in the sport/lifestyle that we love!!! Let's hear from those who want to see the traditions continue....................

I talked to one of the guys at CWCMI a couple of weeks ago, he said that for us to defeat the anti's, we will need to make this grass roots. He said if just the hunters in the state voted......we would win hands down, but unfortunately, hunters are terrible for turning out for voting. The CWCMI can throw all the TV commercials out you want....it will most likely still not get it done.....we need to get out and eduacate the public, educated them on facts not emotions......the more we talk to those who don't understand, the more votes we can win! For those that want to step up and above a simple $$ donation.....please go to this link below and let them know, you are willing to give a hand however possisble, great or small.

Remember.....this is an organization that supports ALL hunting, fishing, farming, etc.......do not think that it's just a dove thing!
