what is this supposed to mean ??? I get $450 for full body beaver mounts. as always don't base your decision on price, make sure you look at the quality of the work being put out.

fish patroll,

If you look closer your name wasn't attached but if you review a prior post which indicating up to $800.00, you would understand the statement. I understand people need to make a living but there is only so much PREPARATION H made per year:yikes:

If it's too expensive, go somewhere else. Some of us want quality and don't mind paying for it.

I'm sure there is someone who who works from a shed somewhere close to you who will do it for $50. Better yet, do it yourself as you apparently know all the in's and out's and the time it takes.

I've have always stated "look first, leave your trophy second". Usually you get what you pay for, but, there is some great work out there at rock bottom prices and there is some terrible work out there at top dollar.

A lot of top dollar work involves details that can not been seen from 5 feet away or demand a flashlight and a popsicle stick.

Beavers require extra time in the fur shed, so, same goes for the taxidermy shop.

There are $700 shoulder mounts in the great state of michigan as well as a few still under $300. Sometimes it is based simply on demographics.

Ebowhunter,

That was very nicely stated. As for Rustyaxecamp, I don't mean to insult you, but you really need to calm yourself. When making gestures about one's purchasing habits or income, let alone knowledge, maybe you should review many of your past posts. In the future think before you make comments because there are many people who can afford more than you will ever have in a life time:D
