Based on your game lately Wayne, you may be the one who's scoring, and you would be the rider.
On another note.........
Why would anyone jump aboard to be crew on the Giant Banana Boat? Do you serve free Rum Punch on that thing?
Thats like hopping on the Toy Box Farm Tractor with Larry!
Just giving you a hard time as you and I have had very similar years.

:( Dang I'm out! My buddy is getting married on the 5th...and I'm supposed to be the best man. I'd still fish, but the wedding is 5 hrs away. Have fun y'all!
I think Darrin wants this to be a combo perch/salmon event again...so he can win since I won't be there! But BEWARE! DonP aka perch fa&&ot will most likely be fishing! :hide:

Dog .... You can have all the Rum Punch you want on the Banana Boat... you just have to bring it :D :D :D
Steve,
Sure bring him along, we can certainly use the begginers luck he has to bring. And no Kerri, is working on her transfer case :( so her truck is ready for the labor day weekend :) :) .
Tom, I appreciate the thoughts, Steve and I have this "who can farm the first fish" thing at least so far this year, hoping we can break out lousy string of luck.

Keep that seat warm Steve, I may need it.
I am scramblin to get the boat in a semi working condition by that weekend. I may get Still-waiting to give up his day and the 2 of us may go out and blast all of you all in his boat. Darrin called me and he had some honey-do that he had to do that weekend (it involved Tinks I think) so he is out.
Wayne, not on your best day! Place the side bet!

I'm out. Ladies tourney this weekend through the Steelheaders. Good luck, we don't start til 7:00 am so save some for us. I'll give you guys a shout if we get into them thick.
Well...
I guess myself, Troy (STEELHEAD), and Troy's friend will throw our "hat into the ring". Not sure who's boat yet.
It will be interesting with the light/moderate north blow. It SHOULD change things up a bit.
Might even bring the perch rods if the salmon/trout shut down by mid morning. Could be time to switch over to jerkin' then... even if they DON'T count this time!! :D

Tom,
The fishing was fair this weekend, we ended up with 3 boats so we canx'd the tourney and just fun fished and everybody threw in some beer and soda at the cookout.
Adjusted, and his to young nephews and Huntingfool fished with me. We boated 5 decent kings and had to quit early cause the youngsters got a little green. 3-4 foot chop :( made it a little uncomfortable for them. We took everything in 100 fow down 60-90, Blue jackal moonshine was our hot spoon on the rigger, wonderbread J-Plug on full core was the other.
There were some lakers taken also but no steel or coho's that I recall. A good time none the less.

Tried to get on yesterday but the Net and Email were down most of the time.
Wish you wuold've been there Spanky, it's been a while.
Steve A, Huntingfool said he PM'd you ;)
It was very unusual to take not one, but four lakers, three of which came of from core  We had some reel rippers that we lost and one I farmed cause it wanted to run at the boat and I was reeling so fast my knuckle hit the drag. He felt real nice too  The morning was rough and with the amount of adult beverages from the night before, I didn't feel too good myself :dizzy: Then the lake sat down and some clouds came in to keep it cool
I think it was pretty obvious who the winners were :D
Steve Arends, I forgot to thank Connie, the kids and her parents for all they did this weekend. I had a great time and deeply appreciate all you guys did. My parents, Scarlet's parents, and the farmer where I hunt all thank you guys for the fish, it isn't too common to get fresh salmon here. When you're bored this winter, comeon up for some bunny chasin'
Again, thank you all, it was great meeting you guys.
