I figured after 12 years it was time for me to get back into bow hunting so I purchased a new bow yesterday.
2006 Bowtech Tribute- 28in draw,70lb
bowtech quick release 4-arrow quiver
Ripcord drop away rest
Sure-Loc sidewinder sight
Sim's S coil stabilizer
Cobra Judge release
PSE carbon force extreme 300 arrows with 100gr fieldpoints and blazer vanes
standard peep with rubber tube aligner
release loop
I plan to shoot Snyper XP3 mechanical broadheads
I suppose it's time to set-up the Glendale Full Rut buck and get my pins set and get used to my release.

What made you decide on the Tribute? It definitly looks like a Deer Slayer

I was actually gonna get the Allegiance but after I shot both bows I like the longer brace height of the Tribute and shorter axle-axle length for maneuverability. I didn't think the added speed of the Allegiance was worth the less forgiving brace height and larger lenght.

I shot it some yesterday and it is awesome. The site seems pretty nice. All of the adjustments are easy and can be adjusted in pretty small increments. NO vibrations from it as of yet. the pins are pretty bright even well into the evening dusk so I'm impressed.

I already had the site and purchsed the release separately. the total for the bow, rest, stabilizer, peep, release loop, wrist strap, quiver, tips, and arrows was $1100. I know it was overpriced but it was a local, small town shop so I don't mind spending the extra cash to support the community.
The release was $70 at Cabela's and the sight I'm now sure of because I bought it last year with a gift card when I was orginally planning on buy the bow. I think they run around $130.
