Rusting screws...

What type of oil do you guys use to keep your bow parts from rusting? I have some screws on my sight that are rusting and I'm wondering if there are scent concerns about using gun oil or there is another type oil that is preferred...

I use the rendered tallow from a 3+ y.o. 8 pint or better:evil:

ive heard that you can use bow string wax but i have never tried it out
