I hit the Big M this extended weekend and did ok on skammies. Got my first one on the pin this weekend, what a riot. I had one skammie take my bag so deep the hook was in its gut :dizzy:. Here's a pic.

hey i was on the other side that night...

with the lighted bobber...

popped 2 for about a minute each but they snapped me off on those zebra mussels...

glad you guys got into some fish over there...

with that hot weather it sure shut down the action...

I saw that fish on Quest... what a beast, congrats. All the fish on my trip were cookie cutters, 24-27 inchers. Biggest this year was 33.

Don't let MP try to fool you. He never catches anything, especially on his centerpins. I have personally never seen the guy land a steel. He actually walked up a creek and grabbed that skam like a grizzly bear. Hence his camoflague (beard). :D

Do you fish tippy a lot? I'm sure we have or will cross paths sometime.

LOL Gomer I can personally vouch for MP that he caught that fish on his pin using 5 pound Maxima Leader but he probly wouldn't of landed it if it wasn't for some good boat control skills by me and a good net job by the Doc...:lol:

No I dont usually fish at tippy, but now that I am pinning I will be there alot more, especially for steel in the late fall/winter. Plus I'm starting to love that coffer, I just started fishing it this summer. I can't stand all the guys there in sept/oct and march/april.
