My honest opinion of them is that they are overrated. They are indeed a great sight, but not for what they are asking for them. I personally feel the Copper Johns products are better bang for the buck.

Take a look at the Sword sights, I got one the other day from Hog Wild Archery, the quality is very solid, it already has alight, and the price was $115. I got the Apex 3rd Plane in .019, shot it today for the first time and I really like it! A lot of people like the Twilight hunter also.

Great sights... over priced.

Just My opinion here.
Kind of a pain to adjust too if ya ask me. What is that double pivot thing anyway?

I can genereally sight a bow in for 20 yards in about 3-5 shots from scratch. The hogg it took 30 minutes to get the first pin...always too far low or the other way around:rant:

Sure that's just me though.
I abhor change:chillin:

yeah a pain to adjust. I have been shooting swords for over a year now and really like them. Very well built. Like a tank. I just recently picked up the sureloc special ops sight. Very easy to adjust, neat design, but still pretty pricy. The swords are a great value and if you drop your bow from the tree you wont be looking at the sight.

I'll echo Sword sights. Used a spott hogg for a couple of years, and to be honest the sword is an overall better sight at a much better price.

Now if you want to go with a different sight the Viper sight is awesome very good in low light conditions and very easy to adjust. I have been shooting one for over a year now and love it.

Thanks for the info I have a HHA sight right now but i was looking at the spot Hogg because it was recommended. I'll have to look into the sword sights too. Does anybody know if they are micro adjustable to each pin???

The pin micro adjust is pointless. Lots of tiny screws that are easy to strip and actually difficult to make 'micro' adjustments to the sense of the word.

All the pins on the sword are square to each other and always stay in a straight verticle plane.

I have a Hogg-It and I love the thing! Payed $120.00 and it was worth every cent IMO.
