Neal,
I would like to offer some type of sponsorship for this event....perhaps a Switchback on loan for the weekend for guys to shoot and tryout???

Also, I will be in studio Sat. the 22nd with Bob Bauer....I will give a plug on the show.

What do you think???

I am assuming that this is an outdoor 3-d course (i.e. different targets, distances, platforms, etc.?) does anyone know what the different classes are? sounds like a great time for a great cause.

I just shot their course on Sunday. It is outdoor, with varied shots from level ground, downhills, tunnel shots, platform/treestand shots, etc. They had about half McKenzie and half Rinehart targets. Deer, bears, cougars/panthers, skunk, wolf, coyote, dinosaurs, carp, rams, goats, caribou, antelope, beaver, badger, bison, baboon, lion, boars, javelina, etc.

Three different stakes were out (white/green/orange). Max distances were about 25 yards, 37 yards, 47 yards, respectively. Overall, it was a fairly short course, with lots of shots from the green stakes in the 18-24 yard range. There were certainly some challenging and deceiving shots mixed in there, though!

Best Regards,
Byron :)

P.S. Bring your bug spray!

You know you want it.

How am I supposed to use that in a treestand?

Bow is so long I could strap it to the tree and climb up to my stand.

Grouse and I were there this morning, and I saw ATB as we were leaving. Anyone else make it out there today? Who's planning on going tomorrow?

Best Regards,
Byron :)

Good to see you
I may head back out with my son tommarrow in the AM. Way to neuter that Velociraptor, I was concerned there was going to be a breeding frenzy.

James,

I went back out and turned in my scorecard. They weren't counting X's, so I shot 294. It was the high score at the time, but I don't know what other scores were turned in late this afternoon.

I'm happy to report that Paul won't be neutering any more targets now that I set him up with the AR34!

Best Regards,
Byron :)

Any report on the final results? I know the trophy is nothing huge, but I'm curious whether my score held up!

Thanks,
Byron :)
