Grandson went fishing with his dad Thursday night on the Saginaw River, near the Zilwauke Bridge (shore fishing). I didn't weigh it but, it was a real nice heavy 26"er. Great Catfish for a little guy!
Sorry, guess I don't know quite how to post a photo to a thread.

Hmm....I see that many a person here have a lot of photos stored. I'm wondering why it doesn't allow 'me' to store but a maximum of 4?
Any help appreciated!

You are only allowed so much space as a regular member for picture storage. Your picture files are large so you cant store to many. You can become a sponsoring member for $15.00 bucks I think and you will get a ton more picture storage.
BTW nice fish for this time of the year.
Just noticed you are from Durand. I grew up and graduated from there.

Ron,
Dan's right. Your pictures are HUGE. If you take the original and reduce it in size to around 500 to 600 pixels wide the photo will be much smaller in size and you'll get a lot more in your allowed space. Even if you don't become a sponsoring member, you'll get enough space for quite a few pictures.

Son didn't say anything about the water being muddy, nor a lot of debris on the river. Said the spot they shore-fished they had to wade through a lot of high swampy grass to get to river's edge. Said the snakes were out in force that night to. I'm not in contact with my son this weekend, so not able to ask him about the condition of the river. Sorry.

Thanks for the advice about reducing the size of my photos. Only problem is (LOL), I'm not quite sure just how to go about that. Sorry...I know a 'few' things about my computer, but doing 'that', isn't one of them. LOL Guess I'll just have to experiment, and pray I don't screw anything up, lol.

Ron,
It's really not that hard. Whatever software that came with your camera should do the job. Just open the file with the software and somewhere there should be an option to resize it. You can keep the original high resolution picture and just rename it when you make it smaller for upload to this site. That's what I usually do. As I was saying earlier that a pixel couunt of 500 to 600 wide is just about right. If you look in the photography forum there are a couple of posts that are kind of tutorials on how to resize pictures. I'm sure you can handle it. ;)
Take care,
John
