Need a place to fish

I am hoping that someone can point me to some good spots to fish less then 2 hours from dowagiac. I have fished in the St. Joe, at the St. Joe pier, the mill pond, and hoping to try to dowagiac river. I have relatives in the area, and fish everytime I go. I know there is places close by I have over looked. You guys know the are better then me, so please point me in the right direction.

By the way...I'll be wading, on the bank, in a boat, or on a kayak. So throw it all at me. Targeting fish for the frying pan, and smallies and trout.

Welcome to the site!
A lot of good inland lakes in the area. Just a note of caution, try not to mention too many small streams around the area. I don't give a rats **** myself, but there are some on these forums that will throw a hissy. I'll shoot you a PM.
By the way, did you move here from Cinci, or just own a summer place in Dog-patch?
