View Full Version : Good Spotting Scope?

Looking to go out west on an elk hunt this fall and wanted to get a spotting scope to take along. I would like to get a fairly good one that will last me a long time, but there are so many to choose from. I know that like with most optics, it's likely "you get what you pay for", but I figured I would ask. Also plan to go out west several more times over the next few years hunting pretty much all of the game.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.

HM

I saw one< I think on this forum for sale. Leupold ?. Go shopping and look at different brands, Your gonna spend as much or more than a good rifle scope. Check out E-Bay.

Luv2,

I was thinking $500-750 range. I don't necessarily want to spend the $2K for the the best ones out there, but I also want one that will give me similar optics. I was thinking of getting the variable style that would make it more versitile, like 15-45 or 20-60.

Thanks,

HM
