I was just on the Albert Lea Seed House website looking for the fall forage goodies and discovered that if you use/order from the Food Plot and Habitat Menu to bring up the type of plants rather than use or order from the Forage/Silage menu the price is higher and sometimes double, especially brassicas (DE rape $1.05 lb vs $2.00 )

I suppose that they may consider food plotters to buy a smaller quantity, but maybe not. It seems that it would be more fair to offer quantity discounts than to rip a guy off that selects his purchase from one menu instead of another menu.

I think that's true everywhere. I was in a local farm store this weekend and had noticed they had the Plotsaver stakes 30 for $50. I wandered through the fence section and they were $.99 apiece. You have to watch everybody all the time.:16suspect

I've ordered from Albert Lea and they tell you that you will be paying for a bagging fee if it's less than a full bag of seed. Very reliable outfit.

That may be true about the bagging fee but I ordered two lbs of DE Rape seed from each section and it was charged at two different rates.

I do use Albert Lea quite often and prefer them for certain things. However, I thought I would bring it up.
