Has anybody heard anything on these bows? I know they are old school but I got a chance at a good deal on one. Do they shoot accurate whats the best weight for em? Fast? Slow? Thanks!:coolgleam

I have owned some old Hoyts , but I haven't heard of that model . If it's an older model , then there is no comparison to today's Hoyts in speed , accuracy , and tunabilty .

Is it the correct draw length for you ?
No bow is a good deal if it doesn't fit you correctly .

I have one. I bought it in about 1994??? It's a basic, inexpensive, no frills bow that kills deer dead.

I purchased one in 1999. It had the Intruder limbs and is a great bow. The bow is very forgiving and I still get 268 fps. I shoot 5575 Gold Tip arrows with 100 grain fp and broadheads. I have it set at 64 lbs and have a draw length of 30.5.

I wouldn't trade this bow for any of the newer models. I have a 2004 Hoyt X-tec and a 2006 Trykon and I can shoot more accurately with the Raider.

Mine has the Mossy Oak Shadow Branch camo pattern.

Good luck with your decision.
