stone heads

several years back two friends of my dad's both killed bears with cedar shafts tipped with replica stone heads. the same guy that made the arrow heads also makes knife blades which we use to skin our game. next month i'm going to go to a preserve and hunt buffalo with my 58# longbow and stone heads. i'm not trying to start something here but out of curiosity...anyone have any opinions on this?
