i will be bowhunting in illinois this oct. and nov. and was wondering if any of you have hunted or have any info. on their state parks of know of any leases available. i've looked at places like basecamp and ram for leases but they are very pricey. any information is appreciated. :help: I will be driving there next month to knock on some doors, but im not holding my breath on that. Thank-you.

Isn't Mark Twain Nat. Forest in Illinois....or is that Iowa. Either way I've heard that it's really remote and you can get deep to get a LOOOOONG ways from everyone else. I've heard of canoeing in too. Nice bucks shot out of there.

Kankakee has a hunt that's very affordabe but that was for a resident.
Not sure about non res but might be worth looking into.
State Park kinda with ..like a $40 a season fee.

Not MEGA buck country but they're plenty and plenty big from what I've seen come outta there.
