Dumps Monday evening

Fished the American side of the dumps Monday night for muskie. The weeds were terrible. I don't think we ran a bait for 5 minutes without it fouling. Needless to say the weeds 1,000 - muskie 0.
I couldn't go fish farther away as I am almost out of gas. I refuse to pay such insane prices for gasoline. What marina around 9 Mile is selling gas for less?

Every Thursday at Jefferson beach. .25 off per gallon of gas. they do have times they sell it, I'm not sure what time. There sign advertised 89 gas to members for $2.96 per gallon. I'm also not sure what a member consist of? Worth checking out.

We tried to start muskie fishing just south of Metro in about 14 ft of water. The weeds were horrible (floating weeds) so we headed out to the south channel area and picked up one 30". Those weeds really dictate where to fish sometimes.

Saw a couple of nice jumps from muskies on our way out to Bouy 28 yesterday evening.
