My dad just had a litter of barn cats, some of them pretty cool looking, but Midland's a hike from your location.......

Call your local feed store, shelter, or vets they usually have a list for kittens.

My daughter has 2 well behaved cats about 1-2 years old. Can have them for free. Very playful and good around kids and adults.

Just make sure you let the kid pick out the cat. They have an uncanny knack of picking out the ones with cool personalties. Another note of advice, and this is experience talking.

1. Always assist your child in naming the cat and draw lines.

2. Check the sex before you let your child name the cat.

I have an orange male cat named flowerpot and with luck and a trip to the vets our new male cats name was sweet pea for only a few weeks before HE was renamed to satan (the whole personality thing).

I am moving into my new home in a few weeks in Waterford. The guy that lived there before has been gone awhile and left his cat outside. Well since then it has had kitten's. My new nieghbor's have trapped 12 kittens since nobody's lived there. If you would like I can ask them about the kittens. PM me if interested.

we have manx kittens just born a few days ago. Free!! Manx are the species that don't have tails.
Infact come on out and you can have ALL the cats for Free! including a Korat species (which are suppose to be very intelligent and expensive species of cat).
Heck, I'll give you a nice pet carrier to go with them! Just take them! Please!

There was just a big discussion in the upland forum on dogs with tails vs dogs with short tails...now cats! :yikes: Let me guess...no tails and they point!:D
