We been catching many 20" bass and one pike 30". Friends of ours caught this 18" perch the biggest I've ever seen using minnows. We been still trying to find the walleyes but no luck. I have never seen a lake like this ,where spinner baits are the main ticket.

Gotta have a pic! Don't tease us with a 18" perch and no pic.

Where do you fish on Lake Lancer and what do you like to use?

I've fished on the lake a couple of times this summer and haven't caught anything. My girlfriend will sit and catch tiny panfish all day long and be satisified, but I'm in search of a bigger fight. Any tips?
Our neighbor goes out and catches bass and pike all the time. He says he uses crankbaits and crawler harnesses. His daughter even caught a 22" walleye a couple of weeks ago. I haven't seen a walleye come out of that lake in a long time. My cousin and I caught one nice one probably 7-10 years ago.

I've never fished it during the summer but I ice fish there frequently. There are a lot of pike in there and quite a few bass from what I hear. A buddy of mine goes up there bass fishing sometimes and he uses a lot of spinnerbaits and topwater in the evening. I don't know where on the lake he fishes but I hope this helps some.

I used to own property on Lancer. We used to use purple and white K&E worms, the prerigged ones and would just slay the bass. It got to the point where we would use ultra light equip just for the challenge. My tackle box never had less than 20 of those things at any given time. I don't know what it was about those things cause they didn't look to good going through the water, but the bass loved them. We would also catch pike and panfish on them also. On the west side of the lake, when you go through cut (big part of the lake to the smaller side) is where we did the best. We called it the "flats". Now mind you this was about 6 or 7 years ago. I loved that lake!!!!!!

That is a very good largemouth lake, and alot of them are 17-20+ inches.
