fished the nw side of the dumps pulling crawler harnesses....9 walleye....slow bite...one here one there...had a good time out there with my teammates big laker and Cpt.Perch.......I see us switching over to perch REAL soon;)

We caught a few perch while wally fishing yesterda but I didn't see anything of real size. I've never gone out fishing for perch.......is there a certain time in the summer when the "eaters" arrive?

how are the floating weeds in the dumps. I've always had a problem with those down there.

Not bad at all SS ...we troll with bottom bouncers and didn't have much of a problem!

Thanks for the info this morning on the location. We ended up moving up by you and finally got our 3 man limit by 12:30. All nice eaters! Initially we made a few drifts at the mouth with no results.

Heard you talking with Hot-Wired but I coulded hear him. I assume he did well with the rubber worm?

Guys like Houghton Laker, Hot Wired, Ed Michrina and Allucaneat are dynamite! They've helped out me out alot on this site as well as talking and listening to them on channel 68 on the water.

Big Daddy - I think my walleye count is higher than yours this year! :lol:

Rubber worm was hot for me on Sunday morning by the Ambassador Bridge.
Many thanks to Firetiger for putting me on the fish, I've never pulled walleye out of 55 fow in the Detroit River in 25 years.
