I went to Bottom Line bait shop and went to check out the huron river mouth at the baordwalk area. Looked up and there was a big bald eagle. I watched him for about 10 mins circle the area coming very close a few times. I may sound like a dork but I love seeing them in the wild. I have also witnessed them in the dexter/pikney rec area and at the upper taquamanon falls. Just wondering if anyone else has seen them in SE MI.

Tatoo Mike,

I saw one yesterday, might have been the same one. See my post on this forum a few down from yours.

I saw a bald eagle near mile marker 8 on US-23 in Monroe County. West of where you were but within flying range of the eagle, I would think.

I hunt and fish near Dexter and Pinckney and have not yet seen a bald eagle, but will keep looking.

I seen one flying low right over the water as I was steelhead fshing in the black river last month. It was about the greatest thing Ive ever experienced while fishing. I didnt catch any fish, but seeing that eagle made me appreciate all the little things in life.:)

O.K, your not going to believe me here but I saw a blad eagle in troy once. I am 99% positive it was a eagle becuase I have seen them before, it had a white head, and it was huge. Could not believe it but never saw it again after that.
