My son (LittleDue15) and I were fortunate to grab a spot on Swamprat1954 (Don's) boat. We launched at 5:30-6 and headed for one of Don's spots. It started out slow with only about 4 fish in the first few hours. We would have had more but I swatted Don's first catch into the bleachers in right field with the net :lol::dizzy:, then shortly afterward he had one come off at the boat.
Around 10 we headed for another spot. Someone was there already and they were putting a hurt on the walters. They must have limited out because they left. We had the area to ourselves and that's when things heated up. Don picked up 5 or 6, I had one or two, and my son was starting to get into them. At the end of the day, the boy smoked me and was asking if I needed tips on his secret presentation :lol:.
It took a while but we all limited out. It was another great day on Swamprat's boat and I am very appreciative of his generosity.
