Has anybody ever rented a boat at the state park? If so, how much does it cost and what do they have. I don't have a boat and don't feel like fishing off the dock. Thanks.

I'm not sure of the price but, they had some smaller potoons & looked like 14' aluminum with oars or motor. This was a couple of years ago.
Is there anyplace else in the Lansing area that I can rent a boat? I heard Lake Lansing has boats. Thanks for the help.

Im pretty sure Lake Lansing still rents boats, if I remember right its just row boats though, no motors on them. Hawk Island on Cavanaugh Rd rents row boats and paddle boats, but I cant tell you anything about the fishing there. Went 1 time and got shut out, but it was the opening weekend of the new C&R season this year. I think Burchfield Park rents canoe's to use in the Grand River, you can look them up online.
