perch 7-08

fished out from 9-mile area...we managed around 40 perch between 2 of us....few here...few there....nice sized though....should just keep on getting better as the summer moves on!! minnows on perch rigs!

Good job Kevin! We ran over to the Ruscom and caught a few Bass and a Muskie but no Walleye. Ended up running up into the cutoff and picked up 18 Eyes in an hour and a half. Of course that's where Jr wanted me to start. Needless to say I took some flack about that one! :p

nice job on the perch kevin!! we stayed with the walleyes today, got a 2 man limit fishing in the dumps. 1/2 mile east of the #10 can. lots of small perch really put a dent in the bait box,went through 7dz crawlers. hot color was orange/grn. [nice to meet HOT WIRE today ] . :fish:

Yep, sure did. No Gulps for me.:) Got to go with what you have confidence in. Headed for Erieau in the Morning. Hopefully the Steelies cooperate! :)

John, the only wally I got this morning came on GULP, also got 5 small perch on the crawlers.

My son and I fished the Middle Channel today. We're not real familiar with that area but still managed to boat five walleyes along with several Sheepshead, perch, rockbass, and a silver bass. Sure is a pretty part of the LSC system.

For those that may be curious, no surgical gloves today, and I got four of the five. Now if I can just get my son involved in the experiment..............

He wears surgical gloves all week at work. I don't think I can get him to wear them on the weekends. Maybe if I catch more than him a few more times.:lol:

We got a couple but then the boat traffic picked up so the fishing got a little tougher. Let's just say there was a variety of fish in that area.:lol: Trolling up rockbass, sheesh.
