I see it's been a few days.Has any one been there fishing for gills and walleyes my seven year old son want to hit it again but dose not have the patients for fishing only catching I hate to see the disappointment his eyes on the water or any where els as for as that goes.Please help:help:

The folks at the bait shop say everybody is catching walleyes. Of course , what would they say. LOL
Everybody I talk to say they're catching 1 or maybe 2 per trip.
I used to catch quite a few , but haven't fished for them in a few years.
Getting back to it the last few weeks. No luck yet. I've tried crwler harness' , and slip bobbers and leeches. Just haven't found then yet.
As for bluegills to keep your son going , pull up to any weedbed and he'll stay busy. The weeds grow from 8 to 15 fow. Anchor just outside the weeds and let him cast up to them. And you could toss out a leech in the deeper water and maybe catch some walleye , pike , bass.
