View Full Version : Banjo Minnow
Has anyone tried the Banjo Minnow that I see infomercials about on the Outdoor Channel? Babe Winkleman
and Al Linder
both appear at times and endorse the product. Most important, do they really work? What is your experience?

Yes they work. From my experience, not as well as the advertise. Plus they are a little difficult to hook up. They work great if the fish inhales the whole lure or bite the head. But if they bite the tail or nibble on it a little, good luck getting a hook up.

I remember those things...got some and hammered the bass on the pond...
But, they were so, they know we throw them back anyway so they might just have wanted a little tug of war or something to pass the time. Swimming around all the time really has to be boring I would think.

I got my brother the set a few years ago and he's had pretty good success with them. I remember we were meeting up at Rose Lake and he got there first and just fished from a dock and in 20 minutes got two 18" and a 16" bass.

take the cheaper route. buy a bag of rubber minnows and put a hook through one. works just as good
