Help on a big brown's weight?

Hey guys. I have a pic of a big brown I caught last Nov. I've been wondering how big it is since I caught it. It's 36 inches long, don't know the girth, but he was ridiculously thick across the back. I've caught a 15.25 and a 14, and he was ALOT bigger than both. Any ideas? The picture isn't a very good one, it doesn't do him justice on size.

My guess is that fish weighs 23 pounds or so. Dam thats big...you caught that brown in that size stream in the pic!? Nice fish.

I would guess high teens, probably would have been over 20 when it was fresh out of the lake.

I figured 18-20lbs. He was somewhat spawned out, probably dropping out.
I have pics of a couple more, just to show that Lake Huron still gives up nice, healthy fish.

I weighed a big male brown for a guy last fall taht was 18.2 lbs. Was a bit shorter but a bit fatter if my memory serves me well. Hard to tell in a pic like that but I'd give you at least 18 based on that fish and you being an average sized fellow. Master angler material for sure.
Anyone else notice he didn't do the "bass thrust" holding it out towards the camera like they tend to do? When you get a hog, you do not need to do that.

I mounted one last fall for Phil Babe the retired CO from Tawas. It was 36" and about the same girth. It scaled at just over 18#. They have a BIG run of browns that come into Tawas Bay out by Jerrys Marine. They start showing up in early Oct.

I fish browns quite a bit in the fall. I mainly fish the thumb and tawas. That river can be very good, all through winter. I use 4-8lb depending on the river. The big buck at the top was landed on 8lb, and the 15.25 was on 4. I've always heard about the browns at Jerrys, but never fished there.

Awesome brownie. I'd say 17-18#'s. I sure love those fish.
