Perch 2/16/02

My friend Rob invited us to fish a lake his family has a cottage on in Montcalm Co. It was a pretty decent morning. I think we ended up with 19 perch. Average size was 9". Caught 'em on everything - tear drops baited with spikes or wax worms, Genz Worms, Swedish Pimples and minnows. 10' of water out to 30'.

Here's the first one I caught. Hungry, the minnow tail on the ice was in it's mouth when he grabbed my bait. I think it might have been a little bass.

Here's Matt with a hawg. This was the biggest of the day.

That is a nice fatt perch, thats good when you can catch a couple of those fatties.
