we've had one of the best years fishing on the river this year, we've caught hundreds of bass so far and still counting, myself, ghostryder, and buzzsaw will be at it again this weekend. spinnerbaits around islands. good luck all

Your spoiled:) It kinda makes all other lakes and rivers--Well, not as good. Great job on the SmBass. Most people have to drive hrs. to get to a world class fishery...Aren't we lucky:D :D

good job and nice pic.
try some soft plastic jerkbaits in those same areas.....have had good success on them in the past. along with topwaters in the early and later daylight hours.

Just curious, what color spinnerbaits?

white, salt and pepper, chartruse,bass, i would say just about anything but those four have been producing for us

yea we used to drive away from the river because we didn't take the time to learn it, now were walleye kings:D

I think they should be starting to bed in the bays about now, or, they are already bedding(haven't been out there in a couple weeks). That is when you can get some real hawgs.

right but man the bays are choked out. i'd say its time to break out the jig and pig.
